Nasa launches its last shuttle.

Today at Cape Canaveral, Nasa launched its last space shuttle, marking the end of a 30 year government funded space program. Space shuttle Atlantis blasted off into space at 11:30 eastern and will meet up with the International Space Station in about two days.



It is a somber yet exciting day.
